Engrank is an English language learning and practice platform developed and operated by Techbundance Private Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of India (“Company”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Engrank website, mobile applications and associated services (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using Engrank, creating an account or participating in any learning activity, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue using the Platform.

2. About Engrank

Engrank is an educational platform designed to help users improve their English language proficiency through structured practice, interactive exercises and assessments.

The Platform may provide the following features:

English reading and comprehension practice.
Vocabulary development and word-learning exercises.

3. Eligibility and User Accounts

4.2. Learning materials may include vocabulary definitions, grammar explanations, reading passages, comprehension questions, quizzes and assessments.

4.3. We make reasonable efforts to maintain the accuracy and quality of our educational content.

4.4. However, we do not guarantee that all content will always be entirely free from errors, omissions or inaccuracies.

4.5. The Platform is intended to supplement independent learning and educational activities. It does not replace formal education, professional language instruction or recognised academic qualifications.

4.6. Engrank does not guarantee any particular improvement in language proficiency, examination results, academic performance or professional outcomes.

4.7. We reserve the right to revise, update or remove educational content to maintain its quality and relevance.

5. Quizzes, Tests and Assessments

5.1. Engrank may provide quizzes, tests and other assessments to help users evaluate their English language knowledge and proficiency.

5.2. Assessment results are based on the answers submitted by users and the scoring methods implemented within the Platform.

5.3. Test scores and performance ratings are intended for educational and practice purposes.

5.4. Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Engrank assessments are not official examinations and do not constitute recognised certifications or qualifications.

5.5. We reserve the right to modify assessment questions, scoring methods and test formats.

5.6. Users must not attempt to manipulate assessment results or interfere with the integrity of quizzes and tests.

6. Free and Premium Services

Engrank may offer both free and paid features.

6.1. Free Services

Certain learning resources, vocabulary exercises, grammar practice, quizzes and other educational features may be available without payment.

6.2. Premium Services

Certain additional learning resources, advanced practice features, tests or other services may require a paid subscription or purchase.

The availability and scope of premium features will be displayed within the Platform.

6.3. Changes to Services

We reserve the right to introduce, modify or discontinue features, subject to applicable laws and consumer rights.

7. Subscriptions and Payments

7.1. Certain Engrank features may be available through paid subscriptions.

7.2. Subscription prices, billing periods and applicable taxes will be displayed before purchase.

7.3. Subscriptions purchased through Google Play or the Apple App Store are subject to the applicable platform’s payment and subscription terms.

7.4. Subscriptions may automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date, as specified by the relevant app store.

7.5. Users can manage or cancel subscriptions through their respective Google Play or Apple App Store account settings.

7.6. Cancelling a subscription generally prevents future renewals but does not automatically entitle the user to a refund for an already completed billing period.

7.7. Refund requests will be handled in accordance with the applicable app store policies and applicable consumer protection laws.

7.8. We do not directly collect or store users’ complete payment card details when payments are processed through third-party payment platforms.

7.9. Premium access may be suspended or withdrawn if a subscription expires, is cancelled, or the payment is reversed or unsuccessful.

8. Leaderboards, Rankings and Performance Statistics

8.1. Engrank may maintain leaderboards and rankings based on users’ participation and performance.

8.2. Performance statistics may include:

Quiz and test scores.
Vocabulary learning progress.
Grammar assessment results.
Reading comprehension performance.
Accuracy and completion rates.

8.3. Leaderboards and rankings are intended to encourage learning, participation and healthy competition.

8.4. Rankings may be calculated using algorithms that consider scores, accuracy, participation, completion time and other relevant performance indicators.

8.5. We reserve the right to modify ranking algorithms, correct inaccurate statistics or remove manipulated results.

8.6. Leaderboard positions do not constitute formal academic qualifications or guarantees of language proficiency.

9. Fair Play and Acceptable Use

Users agree to use Engrank responsibly and fairly.

Users must not:

Use bots, automated scripts or other unauthorised tools to manipulate scores.
Manipulate quiz results, assessments or leaderboard positions.
Exploit bugs, vulnerabilities or unintended application behaviour.
Use modified applications or unauthorised third-party software.
Create multiple accounts to manipulate rankings or competition results.
Copy, reproduce or commercially exploit educational content without permission.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or its systems.
Interfere with the operation, security or availability of the Platform.
Use the Platform for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activities.

We reserve the right to investigate suspected violations and take appropriate action, including score invalidation, account suspension or termination.

10. User Content and Submissions

10.1. Certain features may allow users to submit text, answers, written exercises or other learning-related content.

10.2. Users retain ownership of their original content, subject to any rights granted to us under these Terms.

10.3. By submitting content to Engrank, users grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process, store and use that content for operating, providing and improving the relevant Platform features.

10.4. Users must not submit content that is unlawful, offensive, abusive, defamatory or infringes the intellectual property rights of others.

10.5. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable laws.

11. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property associated with Engrank, including its software, source code, interface designs, graphics, logos, trademarks, educational content, vocabulary materials, grammar lessons, quizzes, assessments and branding, is owned by or licensed to Techbundance Private Limited.

Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the Platform for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

Users must not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish or commercially exploit our intellectual property without prior written permission.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to users.

12. Third-Party Services

Engrank may integrate or rely on third-party services, including:

Google Sign-In and other authentication services.
Apple Sign-In.
Google Play and Apple App Store payment services.
Cloud hosting and infrastructure providers.
Analytics, security and application monitoring services.

Your use of these third-party services may also be governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.

We are not responsible for the independent services, policies or availability of third-party providers.

13. Privacy and Personal Information

14. Availability and Service Interruptions

Circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

The Platform will always be available without interruption.
All educational content will be entirely free from errors.
All quiz and assessment results will be immediately available.
Use of Engrank will result in any particular improvement in English proficiency.
Users will achieve any specific academic or examination results.

Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Techbundance Private Limited shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of Engrank.

We shall not be responsible for losses resulting from:

Unauthorised access to accounts caused by compromised user credentials.
Interruptions caused by third-party services or infrastructure.
User misuse of the Platform.
Unauthorised modifications or interference with the application.
Reliance on educational content without independent verification where appropriate.

Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded, including liability for fraud, wilful misconduct or other liabilities imposed by applicable law.

17. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to Engrank if:

A user violates these Terms.
An account is involved in fraudulent or abusive activities.
A user attempts to manipulate assessments or rankings.
A user infringes our intellectual property rights.
Continued access creates security, legal or operational risks.

Users may discontinue using Engrank at any time.

Where reasonably possible, we will provide notice of suspension or termination, except where immediate action is necessary for security, legal compliance or prevention of harm.

Termination does not affect rights or obligations that have already accrued.
